June 02 What is the problem of Windows Live? We're living in United Nation As lots of live addicted like me, we don't understand why Microsoft need to do such ignoring and useless region control / detection at the end users, especially the beta testing that requires United States. I have no idea why I need to living in United State to use those software. I am willing to give feedback on the product, I am willing to do any survey, I am will to have a risk that the beta software may "trash" my computer. Why don't get me the software? I am very sad about that.
Focus on ourselves! When installing a Windows Live App on the computer there always have a option that suggest you to set your Internet Explorer homepage to MSN Home...... I think that is meaning less and just make end users more "headache". They took away all MSN services to Windows Live and running a Live.com but asking the users set the Internet Explorer Homepage to MSN Home...... How ridiculous is that!
Today, I'm "A", tomorrow I'm "Z" Everyone is curious about how Microsoft naming their Windows Live Product, Windows Live Search? Wrong! it's called Live Search! Live Messenger? Wrong! it is Windows Live Messenger! Live.com? Humm.... We can call it Live.com or Windows Live.com! The greatest example is Windows Live Local/Map/MSN VE/mappoint/MS VE????? WTF?
Actually I can see the reason why Microsoft Online Services is struggling to survive behind Google and Yahoo! I can see Windows Live is What Microsoft should do is sharing the profit that they generate from users! I see a very good start and future on Microsoft adCenter and I noted there is a profit customize search on "The Register". |
